About this event

  • Using marketing and technology to qualify and cultivate prospects for Legacy, Mid-level and Major Giving has long been a challenge for most nonprofit organizations. Generating highly qualified leads is often very expensive and time-consuming. Most traditional strategies and tactics involve ineffective, inefficient ‘spray and pray’ methods that yield poor returns on investment.
  • And, at the end of the day, most nonprofits have a much larger list of supporters than they have time and human resources to personally qualify and cultivate each supporter for a greater involvement, so marketing and technology must play a role in scaling discovery efforts.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn about innovative strategies and technology that can be implemented in-house or by an outside vendor to assist you in understanding exactly where donors are in their consideration process—allowing frontline fundraisers to use their limited time and resources to focus on prospects that are truly ready for outreach;
  • Gain insight on how to create effective, donor-centric copy and design (using Dr. James’ research) to nurture and cultivate prospects that have the potential to make a legacy, mid-level and/or major gift, but aren’t immediately ready to speak with a fundraiser;
  • And more!
